I want to extend a personal welcome to the First Unitarian Church of Alton. Since 1836, this church has been a progressive voice in the Bi-State region of Illinois and Missouri. We invite you to join us for our worship services, held each Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. in our beautiful 100-year-old sanctuary, located at the corner of Third and Alby Streets on the bluff above the Mississippi River in downtown Alton. Our Childrenís Religious Education programming also begins at 11:00. We especially want to welcome you if you are a newcomer to our church or to Unitarian Universalism.
We offer various Adult Religious Education activities on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and often at 11:00 as well. To find out more about what is happening at church this week and in our congregation in general, please visit the other links on our website. If you are searching for a spiritual home, we hope youíll check us out and decide to become a part of our community.
